Accreditation

In order for users to be able to see active opportunities, they must be accredited. If you choose you show individual SPVs in a marketplace view, you must first ensure that the investors have the necessary accreditation using the following endpoint: 

/primary/v1/investor/{id}

If the user is not accredited, you may show a questionnaire screen that prompts the user to self-attest to an accreditation status. The questionnaire should prompt the investor to select one or more criteria that would allow them to be classified as accredited (see this link for a list of criteria) - their responses should also be recorded for compliance purposes. Once they self-attest, accreditation status may be updated using the following endpoint:

/primary/v1/investor/accreditation

Your compliance team may require additional steps on top of the self attestation before you can update a user’s accreditation status and allow them to invest in live opportunities.
